To overcome this distance limit, network installers can simply connect a POE extender in line with the Cat-5e or Cat-6 calbe (outdoor type) .With Gigabit POE Extender, PDS (such as IP security cameras, access points wireless devices) can be installed at distances greater than 328.1 ft from each other.
