E-RJ8-RS485-D: RJ45 RS485 sensor-port hub

adds seven (7) RJ45 RS485 sensors to ENVIROMUX 16D

Interfaces with the ENVIROMUX 16D via RJ45 sensor ports #1, 2, and 3. Each ENVIROMUX 16D supports up to three RJ45 RS485 sensor-port hubs – allowing for a total of 37 RJ45 RS485 sensors (see compatible sensors below) to be connected ENVIROMUX 16D.

RJ45 RS485 sensor-port hub is compatible with ENVIROMUX 16D only and powered by 12VDC 2.5A external power supply (included).

RJ45 RS485 sensor-port hub supports CAT-5/5e/6 cable up to 1000 feet (305 m) between ENVIROMUX 16D and the hub. Sensor cable lengths connected to the hub are as specified per sensor.

Notes
• When cascading ENVIROMUX 16D units together, only the master unit supports E-RJ8-RS485
• Sensors connected to the RJ45 RS485 sensor-port hub are not visible using SNMP or E-MNG management software
• Compatible with E-FSC Fiber Converter/Extender (used to extend sensor up to 1.2 miles (2 km) from the ENVIROMUX unit)
